We offer semen from our top sires. All of our sires are tested free of the known genetic recessive disorders. We attempt to produce bulls that we believe have the potential to be better than their own sires and dams because of complementary matings of top animals, and which provide a variety of genetics that will fit many different breeding situations.
We also hold inventory of, and can supply limited quantities of semen on, many of the popular/famous/foundation sires, although this is not our primary business, and we offer semen on these popular sires mostly as a service to benefit our customers.
All of the published semen prices for our bulls set forth below are “per straw” and assume a minimum order of one “cane” (10 straws), although we will accept orders for lesser quantities with a small order processing fee. Discounts available for orders of 100 straws or more.

711 Itoyasuzuru 620E (FB30406) – This young sire represents an opportunity to utilize genetics that include (as his sire) the famous second-generation sire BR Itomichi 0602, who many believe is the best bull in the breed sired by the famous Itomichi 1/2 (Itomichi 1/2 / Kikuyasu-400 / the JVP Kikuhana 298 foundation dam) and one of our top donor cows TAK Ms Yasufuku Y002 (Yasufuku Jr / Itozuru Doi / Sanjirou / Kitaguni Jr / Kikuhana / Kikuyasu-400 / the Yuriko-1 foundation dam). This is a balanced pedigree with “top of the breed” genetics making up the entire pedigree. 25% of the DNA is from paternal grand sire Itomichi 1/2, a sire proven to add outstanding milk and maternal characteristics to offspring, with the rest of the pedigree being mostly well-proven top carcass animals. This bull provides a path to introduce 25% genetics from Itomichi 1/2 through a bull that is SCD=AA (Itomichi 1/2 is SCD=VV) along with an almost perfect “Tenderness” score of “9”. This bull has been entered into a progeny test along with four other bulls, using Itoshigenami TF148 as reference sire, in order to “prove” his merit, and results are expected from the harvested offspring carcasses in early 2023. SCD/Tenderness is AA/9. Free of the known genetic recessive disorders. Stored at Elgin Breeding Service at Elgin, Texas as well as Hawkeye Breeders at Adel, Iowa. $50 domestic use.

This pedigree makes this bull 83% Tajima-line genetics, which is highly sought-after for carcass qualities, particularly when breeding non-Wagyu cows for F1/50% Wagyu beef production. The genetics of this bull consist of:
- 50% Suzutani
- 25% Michifuku

Domestic use semen priced modestly at $20 per straw down to $5 per straw based upon volume.
KR Mich 400-351 (FB7646) – Sired by the great Michifuku, believed by many to be the best overall carcass bull to have ever left Japan, out of a cow sired by Kikuyasu-400, the largest Tajima-line bull to ever leave Japan, who was in turn out of the Yuriko-1 foundation dam. So this bull’s pedigree contains only three famous foundation animals:
- 50% Michifuku
- 25% Kikuyasu-400
- 25% Yuriko-1
This bull has sired many grand champions and reserve grand champions at Wagyu shows, and seems to have a propensity to throw heifer calves according to his breeder, Kay Ranch. Our experience with this “heifer vs. bull calves ratio” matter is limited to calves born in the spring of 2018, during which 23 calves were produced from this sire, 13 of which were heifer calves. So this sire did in fact produce a higher ratio of heifer calves to bull calves for us for this very limited data set, which provides a small degree of confirmation of what this sire’s breeder, Kay Ranch, has stated was the case. SCD/Tenderness is AA/5. Free of the known genetic recessive disorders. Stored at Elgin Breeding Service in Elgin, Texas as well as Hawkeye Breeders at Adel, Iowa. $50 domestic use, $60.00 for CSS for embryo production for worldwide export, and directly exportable to most countries other than Australia and the European Union.
LMR RMW Itomoritaka 1430Y (FB14234 / LMRFG1430Y) – LMR RMW Itomoritaka 1430Y, or “Rocky” as he is commonly referred to, is an up-and-coming bull in the Wagyu breed that combines the size, early growth and maternal qualities of his sire Itomoritaka, with a dam sired by Sanjirou, one of the top carcass sires in the breed, in turn out of World K’s Nakazakura, a rare female that the bull’s promoter, the late Eldon Clawson thought very highly of. The Nakazakura dam in the lower-right-hand corner of the pedigree had only 11 registered progeny. She is sired by Itomichi, who is in turn sired by Dai 7 Itozakura, and she is the sole exported progeny of the dam Nakagishi 5, who’s pedigree traces to both Dai 7 Itozakura as well as Harumi in both her sire’s and dam’s pedigree. Eldon Clawson, after viewing many of the offspring of Nakazakura, saw great potential in this rare female, stating that all of the offspring he saw out of her, including both direct and indirect offspring, and sired by different sires, were consistently phenotypically correct, relatively large, well balanced animals. This bull’s pedigree contains only four foundation animals exported from Japan as set forth below:
- 50% Itomoritaka as sire
- 12.5% Michifuku (sire of maternal grand sire Sanjirou)
- 12.5% Suzutani (dam of maternal grand dam Sanjirou)
- 25% Nakazakura, the original dam
With the breeding of one of the top size/growth/maternal sires (Itomoritaka) to a dam sired by one of the top carcass sires (Sanjirou), the obviously hoped for outcome is a sire that inherited the best qualities of each superstar animal in the pedigree, but this has not yet been proven. With the exception of the maternal grand-sire, Sanjirou, the genetics in Rocky are relatively underutilized in the Wagyu breed and therefore Rocky represents an out-cross to a large percentage of the existing Wagyu outside Japan. And because his sire Itomoritaka is a carrier of the CHSC genetic recessive disorder, using Rocky as a sire provides an opportunity to inject the genetics of Itomoritaka to offspring without the possibility of offspring inheriting the CHSC gene. And his sire Itomoritaka’s SCD/Tenderness is VA/4 while Rocky’s is AA/7, so using Rocky as a sire, rather than his sire Itomoritaka, also ensures that all offspring will inherit the preferred “A” SCD gene, as well as inherit more of the genes responsible for a higher Tenderness DNA test result. Rocky has not yet been proven through a progeny test, and AUS Breedplan data for Rocky is based upon insignificant offspring measured, so the AUS Breedplan data essentially reflects “pedigree EBVs” based upon the EBVs of the animals in his pedigree. But Rocky has been used by a number of respected Wagyu breeders and has a substantial number of fullblood offspring registered in the USA registry for a second-generation sire. There were 307 progeny recorded in the USA registry as of 2/1/2020. Rocking 711 Ranch purchased Rocky in early 2020 and he has been entered into a progeny test along with four other bulls, using Itoshigenami TF148 as the reference sire, in order to “prove” his merit, and results are expected from the harvested offspring carcasses in early 2023. This sire makes outstanding females. Stored at Elgin Breeding Service at Elgin, Texas as well as Hawkeye Breeders at Adel, Iowa. SCD/Tenderness: AA/7. Free of the known genetic recessive disorders. Domestic USA use only (not collected for export), but semen is CSS and therefore exportable embryos can be made in the USA from this semen. $60 for unsexed semen. $100 for female sexed semen.
LTR Shigefuji 312 (FB16068) – A larger-framed bull sired by Shigeshigetani and out of the Tebben Ranch “Super Cow” who is sired by Itoshigefuji TF147 and out of a dam sired by Terutani 40/1, which has outstanding Australian EBVs. This bull’s pedigree includes the following animals:
- 26% Haruki 2 (paternal grand sire through sire Shigeshigetani + maternal side)
- 25% Suzutani (paternal grand dam through sire Shigeshigetani)
- 25% Itoshigefuji (maternal grand sire)
- 12.5% TF Terutani 40/1 (maternal great grand sire)
- 0.3% Itomichi 1/2 (maternal side)
- 0.3% Kikuyasu-400 (maternal side)
This sire throws small birth weight calves that grow rapidly and look good phenotypically. SCD/Tenderness is AA/4. Free of the known genetic recessive disorders. Stored at Elgin Breeding Service in Elgin, Texas as well as Hawkeye Breeders at Adel, Iowa. $25 domestic use, $40.00 for CSS for embryo production for worldwide export, and directly exportable to most countries other than Australia and the European Union.. $50 domestic use. $60 for CSS for embryo production for worldwide export, and directly exportable to most countries other than Australia and the European Union.
