The following list of famous animals makes up 100% of her total genetics:

  • 25% Itoshigenami (maternal grand sire), a sire known for outstanding marbling and marbling fineness.
  • 6.25% Michifuku, who appears twice in her pedigree (both top and bottom of her sire’s pedigree), and who is regarded by many to be the overall best balanced carcass bull to have ever left Japan, and who was sired by the famous Monjiro and out of a dam grand sired by the famous Yasutani Doi.
  • 6.25% Takazakura, (top), a sire known or good size and growth while still having good marbling, and who’s grandsire is the famous Japanese sire Yasufuku 930.

  • 6.25% Hikohime 3/2, one of the Takeda Farms Hikohime line of females, sired by Itomichi and from the famous Ezokintou cow family.
  • 6.25% Haruki 2 (through the Fujiko cow), a highly respected balanced foundation sire in turn sired by the famous Monjiro, and who sired the famous Shigeshigetani, and who is highly respected for good carcass attributes while also having better than average size and maternal characteristics.
  • 6.25% Okutani (original cow family through the Fujiko cow), a highly sought-after cow family known for outstanding carcass attributes.

She is a “balanced” Wagyu, stoutly build, with a small-to-medium-sized frame (1,000 lbs) who’s pedigree provides outcross genetics compared to the majority of Wagyu in the USA herd, and which pedigree indicates that she should contribute excellent carcass qualities to her offspring. She is very docile and “easy keeping”, and she has proven her maternal abilities.

She is tested free of the known genetic recessive disorders.  DNA tests:  SCD=AA; Tenderness=3.
